On Saturday we took Uncle Matt's boat out on Jordan Lake, which is only about 45 minutes away. B's first boat ride!!! Bradley was so upset when we put his life vest on then immediately fell asleep when we started moving. When he finally woke up he was confused, squished, and silent. The only part of his body he would or could move were his eyes... and he just looked back and forth at us. Mimi and Pops took B back to the house so Greg, Matt and I could have a little fun without me totally freaking out about Bradley in the boat. B was able to play with Mimi and Pops and we were able to cruise the lake and wake board! After a long day on the lake we went out to Dinner @ The Pit. The Pit is a popular BBQ restaurant that has been on the Food Network a few times and is known for their ribs and pulled pork. Unfortunately, our experience this time wasn't the greatest... at least we got some good pics!
Sunday we had an amazing brunch at The Umstead... the food was delicious, it looked like the food on Iron Chef. The service was great too, all the waitresses loved Bradley! After brunch we drove to check the progress on our house and... the foundation was poured!!! So exciting!!!
