The Little Things in Life...

Bradley has been such a big helper lately!
He loves for us to give him little jobs to make him feel special.
His new favorite thing is to feed Carson.
It is just the sweetest thing to see him so excited about being a big brother!

Beach Trip...

We were lucky enough to get away for a few days!  Greg's parents rented a condo and we went down to Carolina Beach! We didn't get many pictures, but we did have a fun time!

Our view from the balcony...

Carson getting used to the sand...

Doing his crab walk...

After he got used to the sand and waves he loved every minute of it!

Bradley absolutely LOVED the sand and waves...
He is still asking to go back to the beach!
He was having a blast jumping in the waves,
playing with sand crabs, and building sand castles!
I really wish we lived closer!

We aslo went to the aquarium!
Bradley's Crocodile face...

They had a little fair that opened at night...
Bradley loved the train!  He wanted to keep riding!

On the Merry-Go-Round for the first time...

Sleeping Habbits!

I know this is a random post, but I know I don't want to forget these little things...
This is the first night I saw Carson sleeping like this!  Seriously this little guy is so flexible! Bradley is always sleeping on his back, arms in the air with his blankie! So sweet!

Museum Days...

YES! Our FAVORITE place to go is the Museum of Life and Science!

Here are a few pictures from our recent trips!
Bradley loves to stop and say hi to all the farm animals...

This trip we actually watched the snakes and alligators getting fed! Eww...
But of course Bradley loved it!

Mimi and Pops came to visit and we stopped by the water zone...

... and dug for some fossils!

Then built a huge tower!

Hanging out in the shade...

Eating a Pineapple frozen fruit bar... now he asks me for one every time we go!

Code Save Ceremony 2011

Greg was recognized again this year in Wake County's annual Code Save Ceremony!  This ceremony is only for Paramedics, Fireman, and Police officers who have brought someone back to life after their hearts have stopped completely and they are actually discharged from the hospital alive! WOW!  This is the second year out of his three years that he has been invited to this ceremony.  This year he was actually recognized for bringing 2 people back to life!!! We are so proud of him and the other men and women who save lives everyday!

I love that one of the pins he wears is for delivering Carson! :-)

Bradley wasn't too happy about wearing a tie... so I brought bribery (M&M's)

Building the boys Swing Set!!!

The Boys got a new Swing Set!!!

Okay, so let me start of saying... Greg and I never thought we could do this by ourselves.  We went back a forth debating if we should just hire someone to put it together, or just do it a little bit at a time.  Well, we decided we would just try it out and see how far we could get even if it took us 2 weeks.  Guess what!?! It didn't take us 2 weeks... we actually got most of it done in about 2 1/2 days!!! Once we started, we got on a roll and didn't stop.  We got lucky for those few days... the boys took really good naps and we just worked like crazy!  We had never built anything that big together and it really made us feel closer as a couple. :-)  After it was all done it was such a great feeling of accomplishment (even though we did have a little help from our neighbor and Greg's Dad)!  I am so glad it's all finished and The boys just LOVE IT!!!  I actually love just relaxing on the swing myself!

This was how it all went down...

I put everything out... organized all the wood and hardware.
It was so overwhelming to look at all the pieces!!!

The first part we decided to conquer was the rock wall.
It was pretty easy... so we decided to move on!
Greg will be using the Monkey bars more than the boys for now...

It actually can stand on it's own!!! lol.

Bradley doing his pirate puzzle in the fort...
Since Bradley likes to pretend he's a pirate He had to have a treasure map!

Arrrgh Matee...
So excited for his "Pirate Ship"
There's the Treasure!!!
Pay no attention to the "old man outfit" Bradley has on! lol!
I just about died laughing when I saw this picture... the black shorts, high white socks, and crocks!

The boys faces are just priceless...
It was worth all the struggle of putting it together!
THANKS GRAM GRAM, GRANDPA, & UNCLE AUSTIN!!!
