Proud Mama

I absolutely love this necklace my mom had made for me! I wear it everyday, I have completely forgotten about all my other necklaces. I just love when I am away from my little guy and someone asks about my necklace I get to brag about my cutie pie... maybe even show a few pictures. It has finally arrived, I am a proud Mama!

Lil' Heart Breaker

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love my mom!

I just couldn't resist... xoxoxo

Such a cute butt

Lil' Heart Breaker

It was our Anniversary on Valentine's Day so my mom decided to drive down from Virginia Beach to watch Bradley. It was a win win for both parties...Grandparents get to spend time with baby while mommy and daddy go out for a romantic dinner.

We had such a fun weekend. Every year my mom sends Andrew and Austin on a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt and this year Bradley and I helped out! It is such a cute idea... and it's really easy too! We gave the boys their clue cards, they were so cute all decorated with Valentine's stationary. They were instructed to only open one at a time. We decided to first send the boys out to lunch@ Shane's Rib Shack so they would have a full stomach to start. Then we sent them to Franky's Fun Park. After they drove the slick track we sent them to get ice cream @ Maggie Moos creamery. We had them pick up chocolate covered strawberries and candy apples to bring home from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Finally we had them pick up a bouquet of balloons @ Party City. At the end of their day we sent them to the movies. My mom, Bradley and I went to the locations and had things waiting for them when they would arrive. They had so much fun, but Austin said he wished we would have been with them. He missed us, I missed them too. I think he is starting to like his role as Uncle Austin now that Bradley is starting to babble and smile. We are all looking forward to next time we get to see each other!

Mom's Birthday... March 1st!

Packing for a trip with a baby

Visiting Wendy in Georgetown...Bradley meeting his Girlfriend Jade for the first time...

We recently took our first weekend trip with Bradley. Thought I would share a few tips...

-Try to pack light for yourself because
before you know it your car will be filled to the top
with play mats, pack n plays, and diapers
there won't be room for your stuff.

-You can never bring enough wipes,
those things clean up everything.

-You don't really need the changing table from the pack n play,
it takes up too much space and
you are more likely to use a changing mat on the floor.

-Your trip that used to take 4 hours will now take 5
because now you have to stop and feed/change the baby.

-You never have enough time to see everyone you want to.

-If you are nursing be prepared!!!
You may find yourself in Georgetown with no place to sit feed the baby.

- If you are at a mall
the best place to nurse or change your baby is Nordstrom!
They have the best lounge!

- If the weather channel says it is going to be cold
be prepared for warm weather too!

- Take more pictures you can never have enough.

- Bring both your car and your wall charger for your phone... you will need both.

...Those are just my few little bits of advice...
