Last week Bradley decided to start crawling out of his crib! One day at nap time all of a sudden Greg and I heard the little pitter patter of feet coming down the hallway... we looked at each other and thought "This isn't really happening!" We were planning on keeping him in his crib as long as possible, but unfortunately things don't always go as planned. So... we had to turn his crib into a toddler bed. We also had to buy a tall gate for his bedroom door! There had to be a way to contain him or he would never stay in his room to sleep! It has been a rough week trying to keep B in his bed at night and even worse at nap time, but at least we are going through this transition before Carson arrives. Hopefully he will be used to sleeping in his "Big Boy Bed" by the time the baby comes!
Yes... he has to sleep with his blankie, an animal (normally more than one), and a pillow too! Tonight he decided to sleep with all of his plastic dinosaurs and bugs.
Poor little guy has rolled off once and we haven't bought a guard rail so we put his huge animals next to the bed.
Things B Is Up To These Days...
He still weighs about 25 lbs
Wears a size 7 shoe
Wears 18 month / 24 month shorts and 24 month / 2T Shirts
Goes to bed around 8-8:30 it's been more around 8:30 since he's been in the toddler bed
Wakes up around 6-6:30... it just gets earlier and earlier
He has been waking up and playing in his playroom for about 30 minutes in the morning before breakfast.
His favorite morning cartoon is Little Einsteins... we have to watch it every morning.
He is putting 2 and 3 words together, a few I can think of have been... No Thank You, Mama and Dada, Dada Work, Bradley's "bed," or "food" or whatever is his, and All Done Food or All Done Baba (which he still calls it even though it's his milk in a sippy cup)
He loves to read the Dr. Seuss A, B, C book along with you...
He just loves reading books to himself too.
Is learning so much everyday!
Still loves balls, cars, bugs, dinosaurs, and animals...
He actually likes to brush his teeth now!!! Yay!
He has a funny little personality, he is just so silly. He will make funny noises and just laugh at himself and try to get you to laugh at him too.
Bottom line, he is just a bundle of FUN! We love him to pieces!
