Early Christmas with Mimi and Pops

Sorry for the delay in posting our Christmas photos. Mimi, Pops and Uncle Matt came to celebrate a week before Christmas... it was the only time around Christmas Greg and Matt had a few days off together! We had such a great time opening presents, eating lots of yummy food and going to the life and sciences museum!

I was pretty upset because our camera ran out of batteries right at Bradley started to open presents... :-( At least we got a few from the Museum!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Party!

Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse... Welcome to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Mr. B's BIG day came and went too fast. I can't believe Greg and I are the proud parents of a 1 year old child!!! The party turned out to be a success even though my mom and I stayed up until 2 am frosting cupcakes, baking Mickey cookies on a stick, and making chocolate dipped pretzel sticks (talk about last minute). Bradley had a great time and that's all we could have hoped for. He loved all the mickey decorations especially his mickey balloon! We couldn't have done it with out Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Austin!!! Thank you so much for all the help with everything!

We wished you all could have been here with us!!!

1 year ago...

My little B 1 year ago today!

His first little yawn...

how content...

His first day home!

Happy 1st Birthday to our Baby Boy!

I can't believe this day is here... Bradley's 1st Birthday! This year just went by in the blink of an eye. Our little 6lb 4oz baby has grown up into an over 20lb little boy (We will see how much he weighs on Friday)! He is just the best little boy anyone could ever hope for. He is so funny, smart, sweet, and outgoing... he really can bring a smile to any one's face. We are such proud parents!

Today we took him to Toys R Us for his first Shopping Spree... He was hilarious! They gave him a crown (which he didn't want to wear) and a balloon. When we sat him down he was off! He went straight to the first shelf he could see and started to pull things off. Then as we were shopping, they announced that is was "Bradley's 1st Birthday" and if anyone saw a little boy with a crown and balloon running around they should tell him happy birthday! We laughed so hard... we had no idea they were going to do that! We all had a fun time and B picked out a few toys! Thanks Grampy and Grandma for the gift cards! When we go home he got to open his Gift from Mommy and Daddy... His first "Big Boy" Hoop! Daddy is sooooo excited to teach B how to shoot hoops! Then we let him play with all of his new toys... We can't wait for his Mickey Party on Saturday!

What B has been up to since last month...

He goes to bed around 8:00 pm every night and wakes up around 7:00am.
Has a new found lovey... his Lamby helps him sleep at night.
Every morning he wakes up he looks toward the laundry room and says, "Pup!" (he can hear the dogs and he tells them to "shh")
Has finally given up the baba and now only uses sippy cups! (he still calls it a baba)
His favorite book is still Brown Bear, Brown Bear... We can recite it with out even having the book and it always calms him down.
When we ask what his favorite book is he says "Brown Bear"
Likes to watch Little Einsteins and pats along with them to help Rocket blast off!!! (You have to watch it to know)
Every time I tell him "I love you" he blows me a kiss... he knows how to make my heart melt!
He points to his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, head, and tummy when you ask him.
He has added more animal noises to his vocabulary... roar for Tiger, ooh ooh ah ah for Monkey, he bangs on his chest and roars for Gorilla, and meow for kitty cat.
Says "Moo" every time he looks out the window... We aren't quite sure why. Maybe because the deer out side???
We were at Chick-Fil-A and he started saying "moo" when he saw all the cows... TOO Cute
One of his new words is " Baba Boo" Not sure where that one came from, but it cracks us up!
When he sees any thing with Mickey he says "Key" for Mickey... it is so cute in a high pitch voice!
He has his new convertible "big boy" car seat now!
Said "Seal" the other day watching the seals with Grandma and Grandpa B and Uncle Austin at the Aquarium.
He has started drinking real MILK!!! hooray for no more formula!
His favorite foods are... #1 peas, #2 chicken fingers, and a close 3rd carrots.
He also likes yogurt, macaroni and cheese, beans (all kinds), goldfish, graham crackers, and yes of course loves vanilla ice cream.
He always hands us his wipe container when we are finished changing his diaper.
Can slide down his slide by him self... of course we are there beside him.
