My Girly Project!

My Girlfriend is going to have a little baby girl any day now. As soon as I found out she was having a girl I started making her a diaper cake! I also made her a few headbands... it was too much fun making all the little girly things! Here is what the finished product looked like!

Yes, I had to put the headbands on a teddy bear... I just couldn't do that to Bradley! LOL

I love to knit little baby hats... too cute!

Little things that make my day...

In the past few days a lot has happened...
Bradley said... HI!!!!!
I waved to him and said Hi then... he looked back at me, waved, and said "Hi!"
( We were shocked... it was so out of the blue)
B has taken more and more steps every day (6 is his record).
He has 6 teeth now (3 on top and 3 on bottom)
He has been trying finger foods... Cheerios (we have them all the time now!), Watermelon (seedless), Grapes (skin peeled off), Cucumber, Zucchini, Apple, Banana, Plum... he likes everything, but the cucumber and zucchini I had to mash the zucchini and mix it with sweet potatoes.
The past few mornings he has actually woke up in his crib quietly. He just crawls around his crib for a while and stands up looks around puts his paci back in his mouth and plays with his lamby. I can hear the rustling around and I watch him from the baby cam... it is so cute to watch him when he doesn't know you are.
I feel now like we actually have conversations now... He is understanding so much! I will ask him if he wants a Baba and he says Ba. I ask him if he is hungry or if he wants food and he grunts like a little monkey(It's pretty funny). I ask him to get Mickey and he goes to get Mickey. He is really trying to communicate now!
This little guy cracks me up more and more every day...

I love his curiosity... he loves to check everything out!

I love his Crazy Red Hair... and his innocent face!

I love how he tries to take off his jammies... the day before it was his pants!

I love that Diesel pup likes to cuddle up to B...

I love the path of destruction B makes... he is a crazy boy!

I love when he smushes his little face on the pack n play!

I love that he can fit into Big Boy jammies now!

I love that he walks to mommy!

I couldn't leave out the pups...

I love when the pups get too tired on our walks and take a break under the stroller!

The House is almost done!!!

Yeah, our house is close to being finished!!! It looks like we will close on the house the first or second week of September. It just now has started to feel like we are really going to have a house of our own. Now that the house is up and we have been walking through it I am so so glad we decided on a 1 story ranch style house. It is going to be a lot less stressful with no stairs in the house... especially when having such a dare devil for a son. The only part I will be worried about is having wood floors (which I LOVE), but Bradley will be learning to walk on wood floors. Maybe he will learn to walk before we move in, he has already taken a few steps! The next step is the painting and cabinetry!!! We just can't wait... we are packing already! Here are a few pics...

I can't wait to see all the trim and shutters!

a look into the master...

part of the living room!

'Till next time!

Austin's 13th Birthday

OMG Austin is a TEEN! He is now the same age I was when he was born! I can remember when Austin was Bradley's age and Bradley is just as active as he was! Hopefully he turns out to be just as good of a Baseball player too!

This weekend Grandma and Grandpa Bosma brought Austin down for his birthday to celebrate! We had him open gifts, drove out to go see our house that is almost finished, and went to the famous BBQ place THE PIT! Bradley loved that he had more people to play with, he missed Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Austin!

His second celebration

We got him a shirt and 2 gift cards.

How long are those legs... he's 5'11''

Austin and his Ribs... mmmmm

Loves lemons!

He likes to make sure he gets every drop!

We are so thankful that we have family that will drive to come see us since B has not been a good long distance traveler. We wish that all his grandparents lived closer, but we do love it in Raleigh!

8 Months Old!!! 4 Months to go...

My lil B just turned 8 months old and man has the time flown by. Here are a few things he has been up to...

  • Just yesterday morning he took his FIRST 3 STEPS!!!!! (No we didn't get it on video).
  • He crawls over and under anything, pulls up on everything and can stand on his own.
  • He Love, Love, Loves MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE... it is so cute to see his little face light up when Mickey comes on to the screen
  • He is in 6-9 Month clothes
  • He is in size 3 diapers
  • He is about 27-28 inches long (we tried to measure him while he was sleeping)
  • Not quite sure how much he weighs, but probably around 17-18 lbs
  • He loves lemons, but...
  • We have discovered he hates Avocado... he gags and makes sour faces, too funny!
  • We have been doing our Ghetto version of your baby can read, and guess what... it works! He knows a lot of the Animals now! I totally want the real version!!!
  • He cruises around in his jeep and follows us where ever we go.
  • He climbs our stairs... all the way to the top!
  • He makes baskets in the Basketball Hoop.
  • He rolls the ball and loves it when you help him kick it.
  • He loves anything that rolls or has wheels... what a boy!
  • Loves windows... he looks out and bangs on them
  • He says Dada and Baba... no Mama yet :-(
  • He waves bye bye.
  • He loves to spit... with or without food in his mouth!
  • He loves to inspect everything... the smallest little fuzz is interesting to him.
  • He likes to bite... he is getting 2 more teeth on the top (he already has 2 tops and 3 bottoms... i just discovered 1 had cut through this morning. He likes to grind them... ewww).
  • Bath time is crazy! He wants to be in the big tub now, but wants to crawl/ stand up and slips all over the place.
  • He is getting a little shy... he clings to mommy and daddy around new faces.
  • He loves to shake his head "No"
  • He is not afraid of heights... he would crawl off anything if we would let him.
  • He prefers dog toys and the dogs prefer his.

He is such a happy little boy, his smile lights up a room! He is very active and loves to play. I am amazed at him everyday, I just can't get enough of him. Greg and I are such proud parents!
