Another busy week...

Some of you already know I had to have a biopsy on my hand last Thursday. Well, it ended up being a little more invasive than we had thought. I actually was given a nerve block to my right arm and went into the surgery room awake as the surgeon opened up my hand. They cut open the top of my hand from the base of my pointer finger straight down about 2 inches. As soon as they got enough tissue the Doctor ran upstairs to check for cancer... literally 10 minutes later came back down to tell me it wasn't cancer. Great news! They still don't know what the fibrous tissue is or what it is caused from. I go back on Friday to have my stitches removed and hopefully he will know more. I was lucky that my mom came down because I don't know what I would have done with out her! My loving husband and mother took care of me and Bradley the first few days after surgery!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I LOVE YOU BOTH!

My Little Man is 5 months old!

Lil B is 5 months old today! He is getting so big and doing something new everyday! Yesterday, I was on my way to work and B was whining, Daddy picked him up and he didn't stop his little whine. I looked at B reached out my arms and said, "Does Bradley want Mommy?" Guess what that little cutie pie did... he reached out his arms for me! Then when I picked him up he stopped crying. He is a Mommas boy already! He is also up on all fours wanting to crawl so bad. He is so cute... he moves forward with one arm and leg and falls flat on his tummy, then gets upset at himself and tries it all over again. Sitting by himself he hasn't completely mastered yet. He will sit for a little bit then bend over to his hands and knees or fall over like a little lump on a log... TIMBER. He would much rather stand holding on to Mommy and Daddy or the ottoman. Although, he does like to sit in his bath tub... he is totally over laying down. He wants to be up playing with all of his bath toys! Another new thing happened the other morning... I was watching him in the baby monitor and he grabbed his paci and was putting back in his mouth by himself. I can't believe it has already been 5 months. Bradley is such a big boy... well not really he's only in the 30% for his weight... lol!

What a Crazy week

This past week was one of the craziest weeks I've had since Bradley was born. Easter was on Sunday so we had lots of visitors, we love visitors! Thank you to everyone who came to visit... it is now getting harder to travel with Lil B. He doesn't like to be strapped in his car seat for long periods of time! I don't blame him!
  • Friday: Greg's parents stopped in on their way home from South Carolina
  • Sunday: Matt drove down to visit (both he and Greg were on their 4 days off)
  • Monday: Greg and I signed papers to build our FIRST HOUSE ( it will be HOPEFULLY done in September)
  • Tuesday: Bradley's 4 month check up (14 lbs. 9oz., 24 3/4 inches, head circumference 43 1/4 cm) Lil B got 2 shots and a liquid vaccine, poor guy. The Dr. gave us some advice to help Mr. Wide Awake sleep better in his crib... we are working on it.
  • Tuesday: Mom, Andrew, and Austin came to visit for a few days.
  • Wednesday night: went to the UNC Baseball game... so much fun! UC Irvine ( my almamator) is ranked #4 and UNC is #7!
  • Thursday: Went shopping and had Italian ice and frozen custard with the fam... yummy!

My lil man is 18 weeks old

I can't help but make a photo studio out of my living room every chance I get! The only problem is that when I do this I think Bradley knows I am trying to take pictures of him so he won't smile for me. I don't mind... he still wins most photogenic to me!

3. I get up on my hands and knees for a second
4. I can hold my bottle when Daddy feeds me
5. I can scoot my way towards a toy
